The allure of vegetables is such that it coaxes one to buy indiscriminately. Unlike groceries or other necessities, vegetables are kept enticingly in open baskets. Their colour, freshness and abundance too prompt even the prudent buyer to do some reckless buying.

Lifting heavy weights also causes similar strain and can even cause a slipped disc and other problems of the bones. As middle-age approaches, this problem becomes strain on the lumbar spine. During pregnancy, calcium is depleted from the bones to provide nutrition to the growing foetus. In this situation unless calcium is supplemented, the bones tend to become weak. The process of delivery causes strain to the lumbosacral spine.
