DUTY OF A PREGNANT WIFE
DUTY OF A PREGNANT WIFE
Though the expectant girl deserves all the love and care from her husband, she should not take him for granted. Even she has to perform certain duties which are as explained below:
• The would-be mother should see to it that pregnancy is not a hindrance  to  the  enjoyment  of married intimacy and the togetherness  of  the  couple.  As  far  as possible, she must control her foul moods, depression and bad temper. She has to show love and respect to her man so that he feels proud of his wife and volunteers to help her.
• Sexual satisfaction is the prime factor to  keep  any  man-woman relationship strong and durable. So a sensible wife never keeps her husband away from her for long. She has to discover new, safe ways of giving him sexual joy.
• Physical  exercise is very essential for the would-be mother for enjoying a trouble-free pregnancy and safe delivery. She can do exercise in the company of her life partner. Walking, stretching gently, bending, etc, will keep her body not only flexible but also prevent the accumulation of excessive fat after delivery.
• Though nausea and vomiting are common in the early months, the expectant girl should not avoid food completely.  If she keeps herself hungry, it can affect the foetus. So, she has to take some fruits or snacks of her liking, in small quantities.
• During pregnancy, the would-be mother can get some free time which may not be available after the arrival of the baby. It is then that she can read some good books on pregnancy, post-natal care and child care. This knowledge will be of immense use at a later stage.
• It is very important that the expectant girl visits her gynecologist regularly. She should remember to take her medicines and vitamin pills in time.
• One more important point to remember is that the pregnant girl should take care to look charming and graceful. Her man will be very much pleased to see a lovely wife. In short, pregnancy can bring great joy to the couple and make their love relationship more durable, if and only if it is handled wisely by partners.Â
