Elemental colours in the home or office
An understanding of how the five elements and their colours interact together will help you to relate to Feng Shui; and to identify problems of imbalance which you can set about correcting. I can help in your selection of positive, helpful colour schemes.
You should choose colours which are compatible with or better 5iill supportive of, your own element. This is not your personal element - which influences personality and relationships - but your Feng Shui element - which concerns the Feng Shui principles relating to your home. For this purpose, you therefore need to look up the Feng Shui element relating to your year of birth in ‘his pie charts. You will then be tapping into the qualities of the elements which will be most helpful for you personally.
When considering these colour issues, you must always refer to the pie chart for your Feng Shui element and remember the circle of compatibility. For example, say, from your pie chart you determine that your Feng Shui element is metal - a woman born in 1955, 1964 or 1982, or a man born in 1958, 1967 or 1976, for example. A predominance of white and gold room decorations -the colours of metal - will be compatible with your Feng Shui element. Browns and yellows - earth colours - will support and enhance your metal energy. But reds and oranges - fire colours -are not compatible. Blacks and blues - water colours - will reduce your sheen. Greens - wood colours - are neutral.
