- Fruits and vegetables: Contain vitamins, minerals, fluids and antioxi-dants. (Papain, found in papaya, is a protein digesting enzyme.)
- Whole-grain breads and cereals: Contain carbohydrates and B-vitamins.
- Milk, eggs, fish and poultry: Contain protein, vitamins and minerals such as calcium, iron, B6 and B12 -all of which may be low due to winter overeating. Include fresh mango chutney in your daily menu through April; onion chutney in May, and pudina chutney in June to boost your mineral quotient.
