1. Besan or gramflour is the perfect ingredient for a body scrub or pack. Take one tablespoon coarse besan, add the juice of half a lemon, a pinch of turmeric, l teaspoon baking soda and two tablespoons milk, and mix thoroughly. Rub the paste gently all over your body for five minutes and let dry. Rinse off with cool water. This scrub-skin pack is great for dry skin.
2. Those with oily skin should stick to the same recipe given above, with just two minor changes: Mix in the juice of one whole lemon, and substitute the milk with yoghurt.
3. For normal skin, rub with a scrub of lemon juice and sugar gently. Once you’ve covered your entire body, let dry. Wash off with cool water.
