THE OBLIGATIONS OF A HEALER
THE OBLIGATIONS OF A HEALER
Usui writes….
Now to go on about the obligation of a healer. We have essentially said that before fulfilling one’s obligation to one’s patients one has to fulfill one’s primary obligations. If one does not then it should be clearly evident that they do not have the proper inclination to be a healer. So now that this has been dealt with let us go on.
I have talked about moral conduct in general, but in particular moral conduct is incumbent upon the healer. This particular moral conduct is even more important and binding than the general moral conduct our society Prescribes.
The first is: One must never, and this is absolute, knowingly take any action that will cause harm to one’s patient. That is why it is much better not to act according to allopathic discipline prescribing a treatment unless one is absolutely certain of benefit to the patient. One has the certainty that if one uses Reiki on behalf of the patient, one can cause no harm.
