CHARACTER OF THE PRACTITIONER OF THE INNER TEACHINGS OF REIKI

” If you own a warehouse that is filled with all manner of delightful possessions: fine foods, beautiful furniture and clothing and jewels, it is not necessary to go down to the fish market and acquire a new dead fish that is not as delectable, or as fresh, or as consumable as what you already have in your warehouse. In fact, it would be foolish, particularly since that fish might be old and tainted, or perhaps someone has intentionally put poison in the fish.
In your own storehouse you know the origin of every item, whether it is a food item, whether it is clothing, whether it is a cooking utensil, whether it is a map, whether it is a piece of furniture, or whether it is a garment. You know these have come from the highest manufacturer, the highest reputation manufacturer, and they are of the finest quality possible. Therefore, it is not necessary to seek from someone else’s storehouse when you do not know the pedigree of the item that you are acquiring. This is not to say that you are to disparage the other merchant’s merchandise. It is the simple truth that you have no need of the other merchant’s merchandize because you yourself possess a higher quality, finer manufactured merchandize. So there is no reason to seek abroad for something which you possess already, which is of better quality than you can find elsewhere.
